Thoughts Become Things!

“Man represents my image, woman – my emotions. Together, you represent the totality of God. So man: treat woman well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you hurt me. What you do to her, you do to me. In crushing her, you only damage your own heart, the heart of your Father and the heart of her Father. Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him that you are the rib that protects his inner self.” — Author Unknown (via allthingsmustpass)

“Home is not a thing, but a feeling!” — Anonymous

“This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” — Jeremiah 33:2-3

Stained Glass Masquerade

Is there anyone that fails, Is there anyone that falls

Am I the only one in church today feeling so small

Cause when I take a look around, Everybody seems so strong

I know they’ll soon discover, Than I don’t belong

So i tuck it all away, like everything’s okay

If I make them all believe it, maybe I’ll believe it too

So with a painted grin, I play the part again

So everyone will see me the way that I see them

Are we happy plastic people

Under shiny plastic steeples

With walls around our weakness and smiles to hide our pain

But if the invitation’s open to every hear that has been broken

Maybe then we close the curtain on our stained glass masquerade

Is there anyone who’s been there

Are there any hands to raise

Am I the only one who’s traded int he alter for a stage

The performance is convincing and we know every line by heart

Only when no one is watching can we really fall apart

But would it set me free if I dared to let you see

The truth behind the person that you imagine me to be

Would your arms be open or would you walk away

Would the love of Jesus be enough to make you stay

Awaken Me

Sometimes I feel like I’m just existing
I’m not really living
I’m only watching the time slip away
I’ve forgotten who I am in YOU
I’m not who I’m meant to be
I’m drifting farther away from my destiny

AWAKEN my heart, awaken my soul
AWAKEN your power and take control
AWAKEN the passion to live for you, lord
AWAKEN me

My soul is longing, my heart is searching
I’m desperate for you to move
Give me a hunger, pull me closer
I’m crying out to you

Open my eyes so I can see your presence dwelling inside
Wake me up, cause I can’t live another minute
if I’m not shining your light
Awaken my heart, awaken my soul
Awaken the passion in me

AWAKEN ME!

The Life I Live

My Worship

More than words on my lips Melodies I sing like this My worship is the life I live

Songs grow old and music fades It’s not about that anyway My worship is the life I live You have my heart and I surrender every part of me Forever more I’m yours My worship is the life I live

In the joy through the pain Times of thirst or days of rain My worship is the life I live Holy God, one so real Despite the cost or how I feel My worship is the life I live

1Ch 4:9-10

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep [me] from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.
