Is it Really a Bad Incident?…Think Again
As long as the sun sets today and rises tomorrow, we are bound to have disappointments in life, we are bound to have incidents that make us as “God Why?” or “Why Me!?”, we’ll have incidents that threaten to knock us out of a path we have set for ourselves, or deter us from God’s plan for us.
Most of the time we believe its bad fortune or its the work of the enemy to stop us!…but i’ve learned think twice about that…Is it really a plan of the enemy or bad fortune, that we don’t get an admission we so dreamed of getting, or that a proposal we’ve worked on for so long suddenly gets lost(just happened to me), or we lose contact with a dear friend…think again.
Was it the plan of the enemy or bad fortune that Joseph son of Jacob was left in the pit and sold to Egypt in slavery for over 13 years? Is it the plan of the enemy for Jesus to be scourged and crucified on the cross? … think again.
After thinking again, I realized that its not. Most of our valleys in life are often stepping stones to future victories and breathtaking views from the top. I was recently working on a proposal with my team. We spent two whole grueling days brainstorming, arguing and developing the idea…At the end of the second day that we did most of the typing, we didnt save and Voala! all the work was gone!…I thought first “oh God, i hve to start all over” … as I encouraged myself and sluggishly started again, I immediately realized that the previous work we did was below par, and new ideas and strategies just began to flow … i ended doing the work again, much better and much faster…
So when next you hit a valley, THINK AGAIN…you might be on the verge of something bigger than u can ever imagine…
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us” … Romans 8:18….Think Again
